Donald has over 20 years of experience working in the technology sector in Indonesia as an entrepreneur, operator and investor. His breadth of exposure and expertise in technology, finance, consulting, and management makes him a professional with a unique blend whose proven track record ranges from investing, running and managing technology companies to raising investments.
Donald has spent combined over 5 years in the Digital Payment space: recently as GM for Indonesia in 2C2P, a regional Payment Gateway with over $500 million annual transaction value processed, and previously as CIO in Indomog, a payment solution company to digital content providers in Indonesia as Chief Information Officer. In Indomog, he designed the systems that facilitates tens of thousands of transaction daily to vendors, payment providers and customers, and grew the company 3x annually for 4 consecutive years reaching $15M annual revenue in 2012, and holding 15-20% of Indonesia’s online gaming payment market.
Donald previously worked in Quvat (Private Equity), where he helped manage the over $100M investment into Matrix Cable Network, the first non-telco Indonesian submarine cable operator. Completed in 2008, The Matrix Cable ushered the country into the Internet Age by drastically reducing the cost of Internet for Indonesian customers. Independently, Donald also advised and assisted various technology startups to raise over several million dollars of funding from investors.
Donald graduated with high honors from University of California at Berkeley with a BSc in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and received his master’s degree in Computer Science from Cornell University.
