Andrew is Managing Partner of Malk Sustainability Partners and founded the firm after recognizing that even the most astute investors and innovative, well-managed companies need guidance to develop strong environmental, social, and governance (ESG) management strategies and implement value-creating change. Andrew works with investors and executives to design and deliver ESG management strategies that create and protect value.
Andrew is a recognized expert on responsible investment and business and contributes to industry publications such as Bloomberg/Businessweek, The Wall Street Journal, Private Equity International, ACG, Dow Jones Private Equity Analyst, Investor Relations Magazine, American Bankers Association, Responsible Investor and GreenBiz. He has recently been a presenter for PEGCC’s first ESG seminar, IMN’s Alternative Investment Summits, and Dow Jones Private Equity Analyst Conferences.
Prior to founding the firm, Andrew led strategy and acquisitions for the Midtown Niki Group, a real estate private equity firm. Before joining Midtown Niki, Andrew built the business development group at Entrisphere, a telecom start-up bought by Ericsson. Andrew began his career at the World Resources Institute, a globally-respected environmental think tank and leader in sustainability and climate change issues.
Andrew is a member of the Private Equity Working Group of the United Nations-supported Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) initiative.
Andrew holds a BS and MS in Environmental Science and MBA from Stanford University. He also holds GRI Sustainability Reporting Certification.
